Jo Aylward is a painter and printmaker living in the countryside on the East Kent coast.  Jo's paintings often record a singular moment, the sighting of a particular bird or insect or a striking feature seen in a landscape. They are created on a modest scale and are concerned with the inherent beauty of small things within the landscape and the quietness of the creatures and plants that inhabit it. Like many artists she is  a committed gardener and finds inspiration all year round from the flowers and plants that she has around her.
