3 Week Collograph Printing Course (29th Feb, 7th Mar & 14th Mar)

This 3 week course with Jo Oakley will give you the chance to see the potential of Collograph printmaking.  This technique is a sustainable method of printmaking using non toxic materials.  

Jo will show you the process of Collograph printing, using collage and mark making to create texture on the card. There is an unpredictablity to collograph printing, depending on which materials you use and the inking process, which means that the outcome can be quite different to your expectations. 

The word collography is derived from the Greek words koll or kolla, which means glue, and graph which means drawing. That simple explanation covers the essence of the technique where you create a drawing by glueing. 

Each week building on your knowledge and challenging yourself further. During the course you will have the opportunity to use the printing press and create your own artworks.
