Herbs for Health with Made by Hand Herbals

The workshop is designed to enable people to identify commonly found native plants, when and how to harvest the plants and to learn their herbal uses and benefits and how to prepare them to make simple herbal remedies.  

We will take a gentle walk along the Herne Bay Downs and look at a number of the wild plants growing there. 

After collecting 6 different plants you will return to She Rose for a tea ceremony and to make 2 ointments with first aid uses for you to take home. 

While we hope that the weather will be sunny,  please bring suitable outdoor clothing and comfortable footwear suitable for the walk and changeable weather.
